Stephen P. Burke
Managing Partner, Chief Executive Officer

Stephen is a co-founder and Managing Partner of Pelagos Capital Management, LLC and is the firm's Chief Executive Officer. Stephen provides the framework for the Pelagos investment process and brings extensive expertise in risk-management, fixed income, and global economic analysis to the investment team. Prior to founding Pelagos, Stephen worked at State Street Global Advisors (SSgA) for ten years during which time he was the Senior Global Strategist, Head of Global Strategic Asset Allocation, and Head of Taxable Fixed Income. Stephen has over twenty-five years of capital market knowledge highlighted by extensive experience managing a set of allocation and fixed income portfolios for institutions and individual investors. Since 2000, Stephen has worked closely with John C. Pickart, both at SSgA and Pelagos Capital Management, LLC. Stephen earned a B.S. from the Carroll School of Management at Boston College.
